Evergreen Fiberboard
The Evergreen Group started in 1972 as a timber trading and veneer manufacturing company (Evergreen Timber Singapore) and responded to market demands by commissioning its 1st MDF production line (Evergreen Fibreboard) in 1993 in Parit Raja, Batu Pahat Johor. A 2nd MDF production line was added in 2001. Evergreen acquired Takeuchi MDF (2 lines) in 2006 in Masai, Johor and Hume Fibreboard ( 2 lines) in 2008 in Nilai, Negeri Sembilan, bringing its total production lines in Malaysia to 6 lines.
Apart from Malaysia, Evergreen has 3 MDF lines in Thailand and 1 MDF line in Indonesia.
